Thinking Out Loud

Hellooooooo!

I have been so busy the past few days with school. I am trying really hard to figure out how to balance blogging/school/life, and adding a job into that (well, searching for a job, that is) is just going to make it harder! Rah, how do people 10x busier than me do it?!?!

Psh whatevs. God bless Amanda for Thinking Out Loud.

1. My Kavu came in!! Me gusta. Me mucha gusta. I can't wait to go on a hike with it (this Saturday, holla!).

2. I loovvee the flowers and plant life blooming! Right now, spring is my favorite season. :)

3. My friend and I went on a spectacular hike in Alabama this past weekend. I was planning on a weekend recap, but I ran out of time! Here's a few pics:

On the go overnight oats+Starbucks!

4. Ugh, peeps, I am SO BUSY with exams/end of course tests/and AP exam reviews. I feel so busy all the time, and I have so much planned in the next few months that I feel really crazy a lot of the time! My grammar is regressing too, do you see that run-on I just typed?!?!**

**I get sarcastic too.

5. So, I ordered that yoga program. I totally still want to do it, but I have already not been able to stick with it. I'm not sure why for the love of goodness I thought I could do a 5-days a week program (esp when some are 45-60 min), but I will try again next week! Maybe I should have started with a 3-days a week or something. But I won't give up!

6. I reaaalllyyy want to travel and visit colleges. I feel like a lot of bloggers have been traveling around lately (cough cough Alison  and Rebecca), and frankly, I'm just kinda jealous. :) I especially want to go to DC!!

7. Soooo I was not completely convinced that my appetite would rev up with all my eating. Like I really seriously highly doubted it. BUT...I think I've entered that zone. I feel like no matter how much I eat, I am a bottomless pit and have to eat constantly. Yesterday, I had a smoothie/big bowl of oats for breakfast, felt super full, and was convinced I wouldn't be hungry for a morning snack. About three hours later, I was practically chewing my arm off. Also, I have had ridiculous afternoon slumps despite eating well, and I'm pretty sure this all has to do with my body healing itself! Woohoooo yay metabolisms!

Like this accidental-in-action shot I found?!?! Haha!

8. Cross country pre-season conditioning is coming up (!!!!!!!). I actually have a very positive outlook on that, but I'm not making any goals, simply because my main focus is right now. I will cross that bridge when the time comes!

Peace out girl scouts. (Still working on my end-of-post-transitions.)

  1. Are you a junior in high school? So exciting, you get to start the college search! (Well it is fun at times and sucks at others, haha!)
What AP exams do you have? I have AP Psychology on Monday, Latin on Thursday, then Photo on Friday and US Government the next Tuesday! UGH they need to be over!

    2. I took APUSH last year! It was my favorite class all 4 years of high school. The test isn't bad either, just know you stuff! If you used the Larry Kreiger study guide book you will be golden!

    1. You'll do awesome!! You are so smart, I'm sure that reviewing will help you a ton! I kind of regret not taking AP Psych.

We've been doing review sessions and tests, and I've been getting mainly 4's....only one 5 so far! Meh.

  3. Okay, spring by you is seriously GORGEOUS. It's been nothing but cloudy and grey in these parts, and the grass is still brown, with tonnes of leftover road gunk lit erring the sides of the road. Hopefully we get some good rain to wash away all the grit soon.

And I remember being surprised as heck when I started getting hungrier despite eating MORE. The body is a pretty amazing thing :)

  5. Wait, you're already studying for exams?! Mine aren't for a month!! I am with ya on being busy. I have no idea how I've been getting posts up, lol! That is so freaking AWESOME that your metabolism is revving up!! And you're starting cross country already??!?! I'm not even done with track for a month! It's like Michigan is just way behind Georgia haha. We don't have any of those beautiful flowers either!

    1. Yeah, time is flying!! Our track season ended a couple of weeks ago - when do you get out of school? That might have something to do with being behind Georgia!

I am so happy my metabolism is speeding up. I like eating...hehe.

Aahh I hope springtime reaches you soon!!! It's wonderful! Have a wonderful day!!

Same here, chica. Being outside definitely beats being cooped up all winter.

  7. So when is our hike? And if you need a study buddy you know where to find one. I literally have NOTHING to do till June when my nannying starts and am back home. And if you want a VIP tour of UGA campus...me and you can take a road trip!
