Weekend Thangs

Sup peeps!

Hopefully you're reading this at a reasonable time during the evening, but considering my still-wonky connection, we'll see what time this gets up.

I think I'm gonna have to go minimalist with my blog for the time being. As in, give you enough pics to keep you entertained, but not so many that it takes my computer 3 hours to download them all. Is that even minimalist? I should ask Dana.

But that'll start another day cuz I have lots o' snapshots from this weekend!

Saturday

Woke up at 7:00 and made mahself a gray smoothie, with my combo of choice as of late - 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 cup blueberries, and as much spinach as I can stuff into my Magic Bullet cup.

While sipping on that lovely, I made myself a yummy bowl of oats for some pre-hiking fuel. The addition of a super-ripe pear and 1 tbsp of chia seeds made it extra creamy. I was SO FULL, but good full. As in not stuffed, but happy tummy full, you know?

Then my sis and I met our friend at about 8 for some trail fun!

It was so nice to go earlier - the trails were so beautiful in the morning light, and it wasn't hot yet. We walked for about an hour and covered about 3 miles!

Then we picked up some Starbucks and snacks....

I was kinda jealous of Rebekah's scone.

Then we decided that while we were out, we would walk around the lake trail on our way home. Cuz why not?!

It was a great morning doing my favorite things with my favorite people!

Sunday

I got up before church, drank a green smoothie, and made a delisioso batch of Fluffy Whole Wheat Vegan Pancakes.

I was the only one who ate any! Grrr. More for me, I guess!

After church, I zonked out for 3 hours, I don't even know why. I wasn't even tired. I think just laying in my bed made me tired. Oh well!

Then Mom and I headed to le grocery store - and boy do I jack up her price, haha! I don't mean to, it just kind of happened....

Sorry this is sideways - it's a honey mango! First time trying.

Lots o' fruits and veggies

After dinner, the sis and I went on a late-evening walk, and before bed I did a quick yoga routine. Need. To do. More. Yoga.

Weeeellll I have an essay to write, so gotta split, chickpeas! I also need some better transitions to ending my posts....will work on that. Peace out!
