Ugh, we are on the last day of Spring Break. It did not. Feel. Long. Enough. But never fear! We shall lounge around, kick up our feet, and have ourselves a little coffee date. I've been seeing this idea around the blogworld and love it, so here goes nothin'.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you how freaking much I love breakfast. I mean we are having coffee after all, so mentioning breakfast seems appropriate.
Oats, in particular. But we stocked up at the grocery store yesterday on many non-oat breakfast options, so keep me accountable, friends. Cuz I don't wanna miss out on mah toaster waffles if you catch my drift.
If we were on a coffee date, I would talk to you about how in love I am with the weather. I've been wearing shorts, people. Shorts. Hallelujah.
If we were on a coffee date, I would probably complain how I need to make some more money because I have to have these things:
Yes, they are needs. I've actually wanted a backpack like that for a while, but I had no idea what the name of it was until I saw it on Robyn's blog the other day! And the sunflower butter, well, that needs no explanation.
I'd also tell you that I would have the money, but I spend it on random things such as a Superior Sandwich (made by my fantastic friend who now works at Which Wich!! She knows I love my avocado.)
If we were on a coffee date, I'd tell you how much I've been enjoying taking walks and hikes with my lovely friends. It's been nice taking a break from the intense cardio that I had gotten into a couple of months ago, and just enjoy the warm, spring air and be more aware of nature. I love it.
If we were on a coffee date, I'd mention that I've been wanting to make some homemade granola bars, and then my sweet Mommy comes home with the motherload of bars:
I mean, jackpot. Amiright.
Whew, what a fun coffee date this was. Now it's time to get up, be productive (or nap), and have a fantastic Sunday!
I miss ya girly! I can't believe spring break's over. How?! And I'm with ya on the weather - I've been wearing capris while running! Not as warm as Georgia, but 45 degrees is warm for me!
ReplyDeleteHeya love! I know aaahh I can't even believe it.
DeleteHoly crap, 45* is warm??!!! I would totally be layered up, haha!! I guess us in the South are wimpier than up where you live!!!
Don't remind me that it's almost over... I have no idea how I'm going to get up tomorrow!! :(
ReplyDeleteI wish I was in shorts. Still pants weather around Chicago, but I can get away with a Northface fuzzy jacket instead of my winter coat, so we're getting there :)
I love luna bars... but I've never tried the blueberry!! Are they good? The peppermint is probably my favorite :)
You can do it, I believe in you!!! Haha!
DeleteHey, any progress is progress. :) I still have to wear a light jacket, too.
The blueberry is really good, but chocolate flavors will always be my favorite. :) Have an awesome day!
That sunflower seed butter….Want.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I could have a conversation with some bloggers solely about breakfast. You're one of those bloggers. Breakfast ROCKS.
I haven't been able to wear shorts just yet, but short sleeves have been worn! Hooray!!
Ooohh girl I could talk about breakfast ALL DAY LONG. Breakfast makes life wonderful. Plus I'm always jealous of yours!!!!!!
DeleteWoohoo for short sleeves!!! Hoping you get some warmer weather up North!!
